Introducing the InfiniteSoccer Facebook Application

"Bring your game to your social graph."

Tonight we're turning on the beta of our Facebook application.  If you use Facebook, you can publish your InfiniteSoccer game status to your news and mini-feeds so your friends know when you can play and you can recruit them to your game.  Your Facebook profile will show your next game details.

All of this is experimental so let us know your feedback.  I'd love to hear what you like and don't like.

  Yeah, I had to redo a bunch of stuff when Facebook launched the new profile design.  Try to install it now.

  I can't seem to install the facebook app either, as of 26 DEC 2008.  I made myself a "fan."  Hopefully you can make an announcement to all fans once the app works.

  With the old facebook, you had a widget on our profile that displayed our games rather than just having it show up in a news feed. Is there a way to have that again? I want to make sure my friends see when the games are and don't just miss it in the feed.

  You can still add the InfiniteSoccer box to your Facebook profile Wall tab, you just have to do a little more digging in the new design.  Here's what you do:
  
  1.  Go to the app settings page in Facebook -- http://www.facebook.com/editapps.php?v=allowed
  2.  Click the "Edit Settings" link for the InfiniteSoccer app
  3.  In the dialog box that pops up, find the "Box:" setting
  4.  If it says "Available (add)", click the add link
  5.  Click Okay
  6.  Go to your Profile page
  7.  Click the "Boxes" tab
  8.  You should see the InfiniteSoccer box.  If it's not here it's already on your "Wall" tab
  9.  On the InfiniteSoccer box, click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the box
  10.  Choose "Move to Wall tab"
  
  That should take care of it.  You can switch back to your Wall tab and drag the InfiniteSoccer box to wherever you like.

  That took care of it, but the game time and date are incorrect on the box. How can I get the correct times to stream over to it?
